Includes larger organisations that are able to host and organise events and can contribute to the direction and management of the Gay Games. These include international sport organisations, multi-sport regional or city teams and international cultural organisations. These organisations drive the Gay Games movement and the FGG General Assembly.
Smaller national or local associations and groups; teams that are part of a larger full member organisation – such as a sports group that is part of a city team or a large regional organisation. These organisations may put on local events and contribute to the Gay Games movement through their parent organisation and through the FGG committees.
Groups who wish to be part of the Gay Games movement and to be kept informed of developments but don’t have the funds or structure to be a full or associate member organisation. For example, this could include newly formed sports groups and groups in developing nations.
It takes a lot of work to put on a Gay Games. The local resources required to hold the event are staggering, and have often stretched the host organization to the limits.
Pease consider a contribution so that The Gay Games can provide a lifetime of memories for others. Our next Gay Games in Cleveland+Akron is coming soon, and they will need all the support we can provide them.
Registrations are only a small portion of the revenue needed to meet the budget of the Gay Games. If we start now, even a monthly USD 50 for the next three years can make a big difference.
The Federation of Gay Games is launching this campaign to allow you to become one of our Champions4Change. The Gay Games changes lives and we want Gay Games 9 to be not just a great time, but financially secure as well, so that the 30-year legacy of the games that change the world can continue.
Note that for US residents, this isa tax-deductible donation.
