Choral festival

The Gay Games choral festival includes daytime performances by choruses in a variety of venues: near sporting events, central meeting areas, and traditional and non-traditional public spaces (galleries, parks, building lobbies, concert halls).

Most participating choruses are existing choral groups, but some are formed and rehearse at the Gay Games.

A highlight of the Gay Games is a gala choral event featuring a host city chorus, a mass chorus, and other select choruses, which takes place in a concert hall. The concert is a very popular ticketed event that usually sells out.

In accordance with the Gay Games principle of inclusion, group choruses will be open to all singers, and anyone who does not currently sing in a chorus may join the mass chorus.
